I am director and founder of #takebackBritain, which brings together thousands of activists who oppose the current incarnation of the Conservative party, and works to support like-minded pro-democracy groups standing up for citizens’ rights, fair votes, rule of law, accountability, and decent, compassionate politics.

I am an occasional contributor to New Statesman and others, including The Observer, The Independent and The Daily Telegraph. Some of these are published on this website; see political entries in the blog and published articles.

I am a proud trustee of COVID:AID, the UK’s national charity dedicated to supporting those significantly affected by Covid-19. That’s a bold undertaking; please support us if you can.
